hello my pc's usb ports stopt working when i tuck it out of the pc useing the safe remover then my screen when black then it booted up again then when i need to use my usb ports again they woudent work so if i buy a usb pci card like this one

also when i boot my pc up the desktop wont load up unless i type in explorer after clicking alt ctrl del i have done system restore it dident work how can i get it to work i have done virus scan

can you please upload your pc specs to your profile to make the job a little easier for the techs ,

this can be done by clicking the " system specs " link at the bottom of my post and follow the instructions

hi sam321, thx for posting your pc specs ,

lets have a look in device manager and see if the ports are listed there ,

to do it , click start and type " device " in the search box (withought the "" ) then click device manager in the list

check to see if the usb ports are listed , and if they have a yellow! beside them ,

if they do right click on them one by one and select roll back driver ( or enable ) if they are set to disable ,

as for the other problem , you can try running sfc to see if that repairs the load problem

1- put your vista cd in the drive .

2-click start and type " cmd " in the search box( withought the "")

3-right click cmd in the list and select run as administrator

4- type sfc/ scannow ( with a space between the / and scannow) and hit enter ,

wait for the results ( check to see if it repaired any errors ) then restart your pc

hi i dident get a vista cd with the pc and master restore does not fix it

my device manger looks like this

also i carnt roll back the drivers

and this keeps poping up

i have to go now but ill check tomorro
