Hi DCiAdmin,

Thanks for looking. Under Disk Drives, I have:

Apple IPod USB Device
Array
Samsung SP1203N USB Device
Samsung SP1604N USB Device

Based on what you said, I'm guessing that the Samsung entries are the card readers. I went to Dell.com and didn't find any Samsung drivers (I did find some TEAC drivers).

I'm not sure what to try next.

Thanks.

I believe the 2 Samsung devices showing as USB devices are actually your hard disks in the RAID. I don't believe your card reader device is showing at all in the Device Manager.

Are you willing to open the case and fiddle a bit? You said the reader light is steady on. Remove the cables from the device. Ensure that the motherboard end of the connections is tight, reconnect the cabling to the device, cross your fingers.

Okay, I'll give it a try, but I'll wait until the weekend when I hopefully will have more time. I'll let you know how I make out.

Thanks.

mne,

If that doesn't get it - IF your system is still under warranty - I would consider a call to Dell.
