Yes, but I should be able to recover things that I'm totally missing. And I can backup my changed files on my Western Digital external drive and just restore those 1 or 2 files. I haven't been able to do much work on my computer because of all the problems I've had and having to reinstall all the software and not having the documents restored, etc. So it shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks for that - didn't have the expected results.
So copy the backup2 file from the 2nd drive to the 1st drive (using the HD on the PC as necessary) Try restore again................
