Ok, I did the following,
Reseated everything,
Unplugged unessential hardware one by one,
Put in a good powersupply,
switch voltage,
even reseated processor and motherboard,

Nothing worked. should I bother with a buying and waiting for a POST Test card to come in the mail from online to see or just get a new motherboard and processor which I think I'll have to do anyways with this pos emachines hardware????????

not good this would indicate that the mainboard is the problem. With the mainboard what type is in it now? I'm unsure if changing the make or model of mainboard and how the POS software will react with licencing

idk, the mainboard that came with the T6542 model emachines. Basically anything I put in there is better, lol. Well if I backup the hd on my other pc, and put in new MB and processor, I'll be fine.
