Default To Sale and rebuild? or not to sale and rebui

Ok so here it is, when I spent 150 dollars on this computer I felt I was ripped off.. why you ask?? Well Lets look at the specs and go from there

3.0 ghz intel p4 cpu w/ multithread technology
160 gb hard drive
512mb of ram to use with vista!!...EDIT: OFFENSIVE LANGUAGE
ati radeon xpress 200 gpu EDIT: OFFENSIVE LANGUAGE
---------------------------------------------
So i was ready to go back and throw this pos computer threw the window cuz it was so damn slow!!! But i said noo..lets see what we can do here.. So I spent 32 bucks on a gig of ram and it ran a little smoother and a whole lot faster. I was content..then I sold my xbox 360 and now I want something that I can play games on.. So I spend hours at night looking threw different gpu's and most of the decent ones need a higher psu...so again I felt like putting up for sale and build a pc..but then I decided to go mainstream and take a stroll threw best buy.. There I found a geforce 9400gt with 1gb of video memory for like 65 bucks or something.. so I bought that, popped it in and started playing the old games I had on my pc such as resident evil 4, vampires the masquarde etc.Which is fine for the mean time but I want if the specs I have now will be good for gaming atleast until lets say direct x 11 comes along or should I sale now and just build a brand new computer..
Now my little emachines stands like this

3.0 ghz intel p4 cpu w/ multithread technology
160 gb hard drive
1024 of ram(max is 2gb of ram)
geforce 9400 gt with 1gb of video memory

i think it depends on what games your playing. i believe dx11 is supposed to be released like between june-july? if you really want to start playing games with high settings on that require more from your pc and you cannot wait like 4-6 weeks, then i guess you could rebuild. but idk its not too far away, might be in your best interest to just wait it out.

also, whatever your decision may be, if your gonna sell that pc, pleeeease tell me lol. that would be a nice upgrade from my current pc...duron 700mhz, 768mb ram >.<....

Your pc sounds fine to play most games. Do you only have one Dimm slot for ram? if not you should do 2 sticks of 1 gig of ram dual channel that will push your performance alot farther. also your gpu sounds amazing but one thing people might not think makes a difference. Is the hard drive an ide cable or sata 1.5/3.0 gig

If you upgrade to sata 3.0 gig I find that my games load before I can reach my finger to my nose to scratch the unwanted itches lol. That is assuming you have a respectable hardware set up but you sound good. other than what I suggested.
