hi the cpu has'nt fried the computer comes on ok but shuts down after an hour it used to be about 3 mins. i have put more paste on do you think i should put the paste on cpu and heatsink put everything together and wait at least an hour before i turn it back on.

It could not hurt i suppose,but i would try to limit the time your computer is on,until the problem is fixed.....Also i am assuming all your fans are running,correct?

hi guys, still no good the heatsink gets very hot, ay ideas. do you think i am dong something wrong. i dd notice that after i first put the paste on and it started on for 1 hour and 10 mins the paste seemed to look lie it had been bubbling. all the fans are on.

If it's bubbling i would just shut down your computer before more damage is done,cause something is not right here.......

Me thinks what i said about the 6 month on going problem with this has taken it's toll!

Also how long did you wait for the thermal paste to set before you started the computer up? And what kind of thermal paste is it?

hi guys solved the problem i replaced the fan and heatsink no shutdowns computer running ok.
