I am either missing a step or doing something wrong in my downloading of Utlitly driver update...I've tried saving it to my desktop and then extracing all from the zip file. Once unzipped I open the file and click on the install icon get the "run screen" and click to run, get a message asking if I am sure I want to run explaining publisher can not be verified and click yes...then nothing happens...I also tried to run from location and a file screen pops open comes up but the same thing occurs... what I am I missing? |

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you Mitch.
Honestly, the ACPI driver isn't important. All paid driver update programs where you can download it for a fee will tell you it needs replacing. If your computer is running fine without the driver, then don't worry about it. If you're still experiencing problems, please post back with what they are so we can help you. |

No problem...I understand...thanks for the reply. I wasn't sure just how critical the update might be so I am glad to hear that it is not that important. The systme is running good now and I think I am done with this project now and thank you guys again for all you help! |
