Your power supply should be good enough to run the components you have. How old is it. As you're getting no display but everything else is receiving power i'd say the problem is your graphics card.
Are you connecting both the 6pin power leads to the graphics card, if not you need to. The manual that comes with your graphics card is wrong. Your existing power supply should have 2 of these on it, they're 8pin which you can split to 6. You shouldn't have to use the adapter that came with the graphics card unless your power supply doesn't have two 6pin adapters. If it still doesn't work with the new power supply and both 6pin power connectors then it is faulty. |

I don't know how old it is since I bought it as used, also this is the only part that I bought which was used.
I have already tried powering up the graphics card with both 6 pins, and I always did, but the graphic card isnt the case here since the onboard graphics doesn't work either. Which is why my only solution left is to see if this budget 500w PSU would be able to fix my problem, as I have already had 2 motherboards and 2 CPU's to test with. |

Does the graphics card have lights on it?
Are they all lit green? When you tried the onboard graphics did you reset cmos in between removing the graphics and switching to onboard? |

Okay, I actually have a similar problem and have had this problem before. Here is what you should do:
1. With the keyboard and power connected (at least), power on the PC and watch the keyboard, specifically the lights above the number keys. Do those keys flash when you power on (may take up to ten seconds)? If they don't flash then that means either the POST isn't being run or the POST failed. The power on self test is the computer's own self checking system. It doesn't run if it doesn't find a keyboard, among other things. But assuming your keyboard does light up: 2. Make sure your power connectors are pushed in firmly. Your board may require a 20 pin main power connector and also many Intel processors require their own 4 pin connector. Check that your power supply has that connection and plug it in firmly. NOTE: Even though power connectors can appear to be plugged in all the way, they may not be and may need an extra push. 3. Try connecting the VGA to the graphics card and then the onboard...it could be that the video is being output but to the wrong display device. NOTE: Again, if the keyboard doesn't flash when turned on it means that POST isn't being completed, which generally means your graphics card is fine. (Unless there are beep errors) Please let me know how you get on
