My traffic light on my router is off. I have contacted my service provider several times to hear the same thing "it's because of your cable splitter" like this problem has started about five days ago. Before then I had NO problems with my connection my computer or xbox live. I am begining to belive that it is the router that is not recieving the data from my service provider. Could this be or is it another problem? I have also tried switching cable splitters and cable cords and still nothing please help I hate using my iPhone for internet and I am using it so much that I am worried that i will go over my data plan.

You mentioned splitter. Please detail for us what you have connected to what.
