Default Reccomend me a diddy pc for < £300

Hi guys got a budget in the region of £250 - £300 for a mini pc to take to uni/ browse the web without booting up the desktop.

what would you reccomend, i've been looknig at asus eee pc's
but think 8.9" is perhaps a bit small maybe something a fraction bigger is worth while? what are my options
also in thie price braket i seem to have the choice of big hdd (up to 160gb) or tiny (12gb) ssd ... are ssd's that good that it'd be worth having sod all space?

any advice or opinions apreciated

Acer Aspire One's are pretty neat, and they are reasonably priced here in Oz.
