about to do upgrade vista 64 best way to back up
hi all
am a bloomin upgrade junky but one thing i've never got right is how to be able to back up all my doc's and save games etc. and get them all back safely into a new build. am going from qx9770 & x48 to i7 965 with x58 also getting an intel 80gb ssd for os and games. i've tried once before with vista restore from backup and it didn't recognise it. vista premium 64 i'm using. thx in advance

Best way is external hard drive/slave drive and disks realy. I have marked your thread as "Open" ready for others to give you advice. JB.

To back up your datafiles, pix, music etc. get Karens Replicator.
It is a bloomin' easy tool to use as well as being free. It is also a good tool to put on fresh Windows install as well, then you will always have your files backed up. Karen's Replicator
