Default Logitech steering wheel

Hi all, i've recently installed the game "Richard Burns Rally" on to my computer and I have a logitech steering wheel which I wan't to use with the game. I hook the wheel up, it says the hardware successfully installed, the wheel moves from side to side indicating that it's working, but when I try to play the game with it nothing happens, it doesn't work. I have been trying for days to get an answer; I've emailed Sold Out Software (which is a company invovled in the game), been to the logitech forum and the Blackhole Motorsports one, but still no joy. I really hope someone here can help.

Thanks

Okay - it's in essence a better joystick - so does it work with other games?

I don't know, I don't have any other driving games for the P.C, but I do have Richard Burns rally for the playstation and it works perfectly on that.

Can you install the game & the kit on a friends PC and see if it works?

Not really elpmek, My nearest friend which is along the road from me has had his broadband cut off for the time being.

Is there anywhere on the computer I can go to test it, I remember once on my old computer I had a playstation 2 controller with an adapter for the PC to play games and that wasn't working, a more expierenced friend came around and went to something where you could test it. Do you know how I could maybe go to that.

Elpmex, on that site I tried to contact them and even though I attached my DXdiag file, everytime I went "send mail", it kept saying "ERROR: Your message could not be sent. Please attach your DXdiag.txt file". I noticed on the drop down menu about operating systems it did'nt even have Vista on there, and i'm Vista.
