Hello, it's my first time here, I'm bursting out to ask this question.
I have a built in microphone on my laptop. I just got an audio program called "Audacity". I want to record the sounds on my computer not my microphone. I asked all my friends, they all said unplug your microphone, but It's sadly built in. Is there a way I can do anything to make it record the sounds on my computer?

If you want to record audio from your computer with Audacity, you have to use the line in function.
No need to remove the microphone, all that does is put undue wear and tear on the socket / plug. Go here and read some of the how to use Audacity docs, and get the most out of this great application... Audacity: Documentation
