Default PC will not start up

I have a custom built pc for online gaming, however when I had deleted cookies, files and history today as well as temp files in %temp% my pc has been having issues. I had downloaded the firefox browser as well. I had also done a spyware scan and an anivirus scan in which both had come up fine. After doing these scans I decided it might be nice to restart my pc, however when I restarted my pc I am not even getting a DOS prompt anymore. All it does is stay on the platinum screen it won't even let me run BIOS setup. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello and welcome to PCHelpForum.

Could you firstly go to "User CP" and fill out your computer specifications as this can aid with your issues.

I have marked your thread as "Open" in readyness for our great Tech Team and wonderfull members who will help you with your issues.

Are you able to restart and repeatedly tap F8 and choose last know good config or safe mode?

JB.

I don't have a clue what is in the pc, unfortunately. As for tapping f8 no it goes to the platinum screen as a primary load however it does not continue any further it is almost as if it is getting stuck trying to launch the startup protocols.

Your first post says you can't get to the BIOS - so it's a PSU problem or a motherboard/component problem.

Does anything appear on the screen?
