ah guys can you help me with this
i know its a simple problem but
you see i have a problem with my USB cable for my modem
the fiber optic cable i used broke down due to a problem with my cats being VERY!! VERY!! playful, gnawing,pulling and jumping over it now i would use the USB cable for the mean time how ever my PC would not recognize the cable and would always say an unrecognized new hard ware
can you help in the installing a driver or whatever for this cable
it doesnt have an included cd or floppy of the installer plsss help

A cable is just a cable and doesn't require drivers etc. However different cables have different ways they connnect wires at each end.
You're way forward is to replace the cable that got chewed with an exactly similar one.
