Resolved: pc freezes/reboots help

no idea if its hardware related just gonna post what i wrote on some other forum
heres the problem my pc reboots everytime time i try installing anything, also it freezes if i watch things like metacafe, youtube etc(cant move da mouse or ctrl+alt+delete) .. tryed reinstalling windows but as soon it gets to da blue screen where i have to choose fresh copy or recovery console it freezes and the only thing to do is reboot, did a scan for viruses spyware etc etc.. nothing helps ;(((

Hello and welcome to PCHelpForum.

Are you able to restart and repeatedly tap F8 and choose safe mode or last known config?

Do you know what the error says?

Have you tried removing all RAM and place one stick in and reboot see what happens.Then remove that stick and test next one.

Did you install anything that you can remeber,remove any new installed hardware.

Let me know if any of the above work?

Yeah i can,
If u mean the event viewer thingie it only displays it as an error if my pc reboots, cant see no reports about freezing. heres what it says after reboot.

Error code 1000007e, parameter1 c0000005, parameter2 f8ae999a, parameter3 f8ae98bc, parameter4 f8ae95b8.

Ya i tried with two different sticks one at a time then both

Well i just installed this copy of win xp on wednesday was fine till friday
then i was playing some game and it crashed badly coudnt even boot to windows for few mins. I did a system restore today so everything is installed like it was on wednesday
