Even though this is one of those mediacenter pc's I can not play any online vedio's . I have looked into it in the past and was told because I use dial-up I would not get vedio's to play. But then how did it work before DSL.

Pirky hello.
If you use cable broadband it is a lot faster than dialup. Dailup is slow and it can and will stop you from playing online videos. Are you getting this issue if you download and save a video then play at a later time?Or when you play stored videos you have on your computer?

Thanks Jellybean
I only have the problem when I try to see clips of vedio's online 'If I download them they play fine. DSL right now is not in my area so dial-up is all I can get. right now. |

Hi pirky,
To answer your answer your first question - How did it work before ADSL - it didn't. They didn't really have streaming media back then because internet connections were too slow. You're 9in1 card has nothing to do with your video problem. Until ADSL is available in your area then you have keep downloading them to be able to watch them as Jelly Bean advised. |

Thanks for the answers .
As for the DSL I found it is in my area but I found that I am better to stay with dial-up for now . There seem to be to many friends I have that have it and they are all going back to dial-up . they say the company charges way to much for it .
