my keyboard is not working properly. my alt key doesnt function but shift key does the job of ctrl key and ctrl key doesnot work.however shift key doesnt do normal function. is the problem solvable

Could you firstly take a brush and clean inbetween the keys for me.Also go to device manager and update the driver for the keyboard.

@ Paul, my welcome to PCHF as well. Was this something that just happened out of the blue? Like it was working one day, and the next pfft? Make sure to follow JB's instructions first, you'd be amazed at the wierd things a dirty keyboard will do.

What is the make and model # of the keyboard? Also, can you please follow the instructions for PreWork in my signature, and post back with the logs?
