Arrow Looking for a quad TV Tuner!

I currently have the Hauppauge WinTV-PVR 500MCE TV Tuner in my desktop that allows me to record two shows at once. I just plug in the coaxial cable and viola!

I have issues three nights a week, however, where I have three shows on at the same time. I work in the evenings and can't be home to watch one on a different TV. I'm looking for a TV Tuner that will allow me to record 3-4 TV shows at the same time.

I heard Hauppauge release one in the UK. Is there any such thing where I can plug in my coaxial cable and "go" here for the US? We have digital cable through WOW and Time Warner (depending on which house I am at).

You can see my system specs above.

Thanks!

Default Re: Looking for a quad TV Tuner!

I believe Dvico make quad digital tv tuners, I do not have a link though.

What I did to record multiple channels is put in three Compro T300 digiital tuner cards, so I can record three streams with a programme called DVD WebScheduler.

I can get four tv channels doing it this way, I can capture one tv station as a full ts mux file that has three channels in it ABC 1 ABC 2 and ABC HD which I can the separate out with VideoReDo. The other two cards record a single ts mux stream each.

In my other computer I have one Compro E650 card to grab anything that I cant cover with the other setup.

Hope this helps...
