Hi, I upgrated to Vista since... 2 weeks or so, but when I install my "All-In-One" Drivers for the scanner and printer on the PC it says that the OS is not supported (damn,it's even written on the disc), so I clicked "install anyway" and it installed like it should, but when I tried to open the program for the scanning & stuff, It didn't work
I even tried putting it on compatibility mode for WinXP SP2, but when it opens there are NO action buttons and the Sharing and Tools Menus look like this:

Also the bottons dont work and I Get this:

Hi rock_lee_96 - Welcome to PCHF!

To scan onto Vista you don't use the HP software. Please see link below for more info:

The Scan Button on the All-in-One Does Not Function When the Printer is Connected to Windows Vista

Thumbs down Still no effect...

I'm on Windows Vista Home Premium, so I can't use the first option, and even if the printer is ON the paint scan option doesn't work...

Look:

I gotta go take a shower and rest now, tomorrow I'll make a preinstall of the drivers and try other stuff and see if it works... 'till then keep looking for solutions please I really need this

Try uninstalling all the HP Scan and Fax software. Then reinstall just the printers drivers. See if scan works from paint then.

Vista wont use your printers software. If you delete everything properly and let vista just install the print drivers you should according to HP be able to scan from Paint.

The only thing I can suggest is perhaps calling HP's support line. They maybe able to help you further.
