Default Mouse keeps freezing
I have a machine around 7 years old and the mouse keeps on freezing, so I have to reboot to get it working again. The machine has XP installed on it has anyone any suggestions please

Hello Statty, welcome to PCHF.

When it happens is it just the mouse, or is it the entire PC? Try hitting the [Num Lock] button on your keyboard to see if the light switches on/off. If your PC and keyboard is still working, then it is likely to be the mouse itself. In this case, it will be a simple matter of just swapping the mouse for a new one for the sake of £3 from Tesco!! No mouse in the world is expected to last 7 years.
