Hey, my PC has recently stopped working, when you press the ON button the light comes on and it starts booting up for about a second then dies. About 2 weeks before this started my DVD drive died and wouldnt pick up any disks when put in, im not sure if this is related to the problem. Also when moving the PC and pressing the ON button it somtimes boots up for longer, 3 - 4 seconds then dies, which leads me to think its a connection problem or somthing. Anyone got any ideas what the problem is? Thanks in advance

Without having the ability to physically look at your PC and assuming that you haven't been tinkering inside the case recently, I would say that your psu has died or is dying.

Sounds to me like the PSU is knackered barknip,try a temp psu in there mate.
