I'll leave this thread open for you for a couple weeks until you've got it all up and running. Post back when its all fixed or you have any problems.

Well here's a new one. I got a new case and what do I find in it? The ATX 12V plug is backwards and the ATX plug is four pins short. I'm not sure how this could be. Aren't these things meant to be standard across the industry? Calling the shop tomorrow to see what they have to say.

You can get an adapter - they're not that expensive only a couple of dollars. Just call the shop where you got the case and they should have adapters available.

Haven't had a chance to talk to the shop yet, but I have it up and running in the old case. Only problem is that it's got a fairly light power supply. Still, I have a rather nice little upgraded system. Now that it's actually running again i'm backing up files and then i'll do a complete format and reinstall on windows just to make it all fresh and shiny. Groovy huh?
