Default Pc Crashing while Gaming

I recently upgraded my 680i motherboard to a 780i motherboard. All my other parts remain the same. Everything seems to run fine and smooth until I play a game and after about 10 to 15 minutes sometimes like 30 minutes of gaming my system just shuts down. No blue screen or nothing it just shuts right down. It starts right back up aswell with no delay when I press the power button which leads me to beleive its not a heat issue. I have run memtest for my RAM and PRime95 and Orthos to test out my CPU so pretty sure its not those could it be a faulty motherboard. I have also recently installed a new Power supply thinking that might be the issue. I also reformatted and did a fresh install of windows xp on my hard drive thinking it might be a driver related issue. So now I am stuck and dont want to keep purchasing new hardware until I know what the problem is

It sounds like an overheating problem. Even though the pc starts up immediately after it still could be caused by overheating when the PC is under load.

When you changed the motherboard did you apply new thermal compound to the cpu before reinstalling the heatsink and fan. Did you make sure to remove any old thermal compound before you applied the new. I recommend using Arctic Silver especially if your going to using the PC for gaming.

Otherwise it could be the Graphics Card that's overheating. Download Everest from the following to check the temperatures of the GPU and the CPU under load.
