Hello guys and gals, I wasn't sure if this was proper place to put this, so if it isn't can one of the kind mods move it for me? Anyway, I was wondering if any of you could tell me if this was a fairly decent rig I'm getting:

XPS 630, Intel Core2 processorQ6600 (2.40Ghz,1066FSB) w/Quad Core Technology and 8MB cache

2GB DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz

512MB NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT

500GB NCQ SATA Hard Drive (7200 RPM) w/ 16MB DataBurst Cache

Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium, English

48X Combo and 16X DVD+/-RW48X Combo and 16X DVD+/-RW

it's bloody good! however, i recommend installing XP on it aswell, (install XP when you get it then vista, or install xp after and modify the bootfile(i did the 2nd ), because you may want to use vista for dx10, and xp for dx9, since ur "older" games (i.e. dx9& older) run faster on xp, but maybe im just framerate greedy :P. but if you don't want to mess about with OS's then just stick with vista, your card&cpu should handle anything, even on vista

Yeah its the XPS Dell one on their site. Dunno what version of Windows Vista it is Can you install XP on the same Hard drive? Like make a virtual drive or something?

You can dual boot Vista/XP.Yes on the same hard drive.

Looks a lovely machine you are buying.
