Default notebook replacement lcd not working properly

Hi, i have just replaced the lcd panel in my clevo m37ew but the new lcd isn't working properly. (see pictures below) Is the new display (AU Optronics LTN154X3-L01) not compatible with this notebook, have I received a faulty display or is there some other kind of problem? The old display is a LG Phillips LP154W02 and still works in the notebook but is cracked. Thank you in advance rusha34.

Two things I can think of.

1. Reset the screen resolution setting to a smaller number. Does that help?
2. Boot up in the SAFE mode. Does the screen look right in the SAFE mode?

Hi will the screen work ok on a external monitor? if it will the new display or cables between the display may be playing up.

mmmm....could this be a driver issue have you tried a standard driver for the screen or the maunufacutres driver
