Default BIOS problems PXE-61 failure
I have an Acer 5101 laptop and since I upgraded to Vista Premium I have had a problem on booting. I get the message 'PXE-61 media test failure, check cable PXE-M0F: Exited PXE Rom. I have solved the problem in the short term by resetting the BIOS to the original configuration and then booting . I have been told and I o not know if this correct that I require to upgrade the BIOS. At present it is Version 2 but there are other versions on the Acer website up to version 3.10. If that is correct how do I upgrade the BIOS with this download? Has anyone else had this problem and come up with another solution and/or can anyone help with adice re the BIOS.

What is the full model number of your acer?Is it Acer as5150?

Hi I am sorry I am having trouble with Acer website.If you click on support you can find your drivers and BIOS update.

I cannot get the site to open up properly for me.
