Default Audio Problems

ok here's the problem, none of my media files whether they be on the internet or on media player, no sound the only thing that has sound would be the main windows sound affects like the "Beep" or the "Doink"

Hello and welcome to PC Help Forum.

Could you please check your sound and make sure nothing is muted.
Check your speakers are plugged in properly and powered on.

Go to device manager and update the sound driver.

Right click on my computer,scroll to properties and open.

Click on hardware tab then open device manager.
