Try unplugging the CD drive, and turn the computer on, to see if it still does it

just double click the file-- and follow the prompts
sorry about the delay-- I have been extremely busy offline

AWW_3_3's suggestion is a good one too.
Take a little time, but it would tell you if it was the CD drive for sure.
