By the way i noticed before the crash my computer started making a odd clunking noise, it seemed to go away after the crash and after i uninstalled th game.

However, i logged on to my account today and notice the noise returned? What is going on? I thought maybe the game caused the crash but i am not sure now, especially now with the odd clunking noise...

HELP PLEASE! Whats wrong with my computer? It's never done this before...(made this sound)

It is kinda hard to describe the noise it is making. It kind of sounds like the noise your car makes when you put your signal on, but louder and clunkier.

I am really worried, since i logged on just about10 minutes ago, i have been hearing the noise constantly.

EDIT: Now my computer just went in hiberation for no reason, i had to turn it back on....

Rut-ro--
those are often signs of a failing harddrive... I would immediately backup any important files... music/pictures... anything you don't want to lose.
Noises like clunking or clicking are usually the seek mechanism... especially considering your PC's "abberant behavior". Save your data while you still can-- just to be sure.

oh great....

So i have to tell everyone in my family to backup everything on their accounts including mine...that isn't good...

Espeically knowing my family, there not technical with computers...

To back up stuff don't i need to put it on a jumpdrive or floppy disc though? I do have either...

What causes harddrives to fail, so i can't do anything to resolve this? I have to get it fixed somewhere?

Also, my dad went on his account today, and said there was no noise. So the noise seems to be random? I only heard it the day of the crash and about 3 times yesterday. My computer seems to be working fine though...

There is no way to really fix a harddrive-- you just buy a new one, and transfer your stuff over.
To back stuff up there are many options, though I would not suggest floppy disc-- they are quite fragile themselves.
You can use just about anything else... another harddrive, DVD's, CD-Rom's-- there are even online backup services these days.
You really don't need to backup all the files-- just the irreplaceable stuff.
Photos/Music/personal records-- anything that has value to you, personally. Software ( I assume) you have on CD somewhere.
Computers are fallible machines--a backup strategy should be part of how you manage it's use/maintenance.

Practical PC Online - Beginner's Guides: Disaster prevention - Backup Strategies

The thing with a failing Harddrive-- is that you do usually get some warning (like funny noises)-- if you don't listen to those warnings and backup that important stuff right away-- it could fail completely.
Then you lose everything--and there is no way to retreive it without expensive equipment-- and lots of dollars.
It is much cheaper-- and simpler, to swap your data while it is still accessible.
Am I 100% certain that it's the drive that's making that noise? Nope.
The only way to be certain is to open the case-- and try to locate the noise by listening-- or take it to a repair shop.
When you add together your symptoms:

odd noises
odd behavior of Windows (spontaneous hibernation, etc)
random errors (crashing software)

it all points in that direction.

Update: Well i got advice from someone outside of this forum, that it may just be a fan issue or the inside may need cleaning. So i would say Tuesday? Of last week my dad and i unplugged the tower, took it outside removed the side panel and cleaned out the inside with a computer dust off aresol can. It seemed to fix the problem once we plugged it back in, i haven't heard the noise since then.

However, something still doesn't seem right, i can't quite put my finger on it.

ex: Logging on to my account loads slow (sometimes, not always) it seems like it takes a while to load everything in the taskbak. (sometimes not always)

I only have 7 things to load up on the taskbar.
