These are the parts I ordered for my first self build. I've been running it now for about 6 weeks and it is working well. Most expensive was the Vista OS @ £215, I got the retail full version rather than OEM.
I paid about £60 for an Akasa
PSU Don't skimp on this it is false economy and can cause problems if you get a cheap generic
PSU.
