Looking at the Microsoft support website there is a download-able "hot fix" available for both problems. I don't know if the "cause" that they posted is really the true problem in my computer though.

PFN_LIST_CORRUPT:
Audio playback does not play the audio file from the correct position after you pause it, and you randomly receive a Stop error message when you try to play audio files in Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2)

BAD_POOL_CALLER
Error message on a Windows XP-based computer when you work with a network share: "STOP: 0x000000C2 BAD_POOL_CALLER"

Also as an update I re-checked my memory again - just to be sure. There were no errors found after running it for a few hours.

I will continue to report as much information as I can as I find it.

Opened SpeedFan for the first time in awhile. Noticed my Temp1 was getting the "Hot" symbol. Don't know if that means anything or not.

Also, I think worth noting is that before the last restart my +12V line was sitting at the mid 11's. I was attempting to capture a screen shot and open up Photoshop when it popped up the blue screen and gave me the BAD_POOL_CALLER error. This shot is from after I rebooted.

This is the case I'm using currently:
Ultra Grid ATX Mid-Tower Case with Clear Side, Front USB and Audio Ports ULT33138 at TigerDirect.com

It has two 120mm fans in it. The processor fan also has a shroud covering it - giving it direct access out the vent in the window. I've considered adding a porthole to the top or purchasing a 5.25" bay fan for better heat control if it happens to be the culprit or adding to the problem.

Unhappy Re: Random Restarts

Still having restart problems

Here's an updated SpeedFan screen:

I've been keeping an eye on the Temp1. 45c is the lowest I've seen it lately. Usually it's in the 50-55c range and I've seen it top out around 60c.

Whoo, two restarts within a few hours time. Same story, just one number set changed.

I remember having this issue a year or two ago with counter strike, if I recall correctly I either updated my video card drivers or entirely changed the card and the problem was solved.
