Default How to change view on my USB Memory Stick.

Happy Christmas everyone.

I've got something that's been annoying me for the last few weeks. When I open up my USB stick in My Computer, the view is set to Filmstrip by default. Obviously I don't want this as I prefer Icons for my word documents etc. How can I make it be Icons by default?

Hi Vamp,
  1. Open Windows Explorer
  2. Click on any folder and set the Display View you want (drop down on the toolbar)
  3. Navigate to the menu item Tools -> Folder Options
  4. Select the Folder tab
  5. At the top of the tab is a button that says Apply to All Folders
  6. Click it and all folders will now display the view type you previously selected
