Hello Rufus7113,

The Intel board will take up to 8gig of 800mhz DDR2. It should work fine with your memory.

Rufus, you said you had some problems, what problems are you having with your PC? Be specific as you can, include any error messages as well.

byt whn i put kingston memory the pc is turning on just fine.

some one told me that i should change the voltage in the bios in order to make the OCZ memory work.

and onother one told me that becouse it`s a high preformance memory the bord won`t work with it.

thankx in advance

Your motherboard will only support 1.8 V (only) memory. I can't be entirly sure but I believe your OCZ memory supports 1.9, If that's the case you would probably want to use memory that is compatable with your motherboard. It may or may not be possible to change the voltage on the Motherboard but there are probably risks involved in doing that. I hope this helps. Let us know how it goes.

To change the voltage for memory in your motherboard you need to access your BIOS and it will be under a section labeled voltages, changing the voltage for your RAM isnt necessarily bad, if done in small doses. Find the specs for your voltages of your RAM, and try and see what the maximum voltages are that the manufacture recommends.

I know with OCZ's PC8500s that its manufacture recommended with my motherboard at up to 2.3v, it was auto set on 1.8v, and i have since then set it to 2v and its working just fine.

Adjusting the voltage too much will either result in your computer turning on, and then shutting off...which you would then want to reset your CMOS, or if its running at a destructive voltage but the computer allows it, it could fry your RAM....so be careful, remember...increase it in small increments...just like if you were overclocking it.
