Default [Answered] New CPU - will PSU be good enough

Hi,

My current set up is as follows:

AMD 64 3500+ (VENICE CORE) running at 2500mhz 1.39 Vcore
2gb DDR 400 ram (dual channel)
geforce 7900gt @ 530mhz
1x DVD/RW drive
2x sata hard drives
1x ide drive
1x pci NIC
1x sound blaster audigy
1x floppy drive
350watt hiper PSU

Now my system runs perfectly fine etc but i have just purchased an AMD 64 3800+ X2 Dual core CPU. I was wondering if my PSU will be able to run this set up efficiently or will it not be powerful enough? At the moment my system is completely stable and never crashes etc. What do you think?

Hi Skeleton,

Yep, at those spec's, you'll be using no more than 300w at the most.
