I don't know if these two issues are related at all, but the first one started earliest, or at least thats what I noticed first. Every so often my computer will freeze for about a half second if I haven't touched it in awhile and then start up, Also it sounds like the computer is starting to shake the insides to death. like I said, I don't know if they both are a symptom of the same problem, or two seperate issues. Any clue as to what could cause either?

If you're comfortable with it, open your PC and check the fans are all spinning freely. If neccessary, blow away any dust etc with a can of compressed air.
