Default Quick Question about processor

Have been away for a bit, my old desktop was a p4 at running at 3.1. In this intel core duo, what processor will I need to be at least as fast as my old one, perhaps a little quicker.

core 2 duo 3.2 (2x 1.6 processors) im running one and its really fast , just put 1gb or 2gb of ram and its really fast , but there are much better ones then mine.
