Default [Resolved] Installing New WebCam

I've recently bought a new WebCam

I had a Logitec Quick Cam version 8.4.6 installed but decided to buy a new Logitec Quick Cam version 10.4

I unplugged my old WebCam and plugged in the new WebCam and installed the software it needed. After I installed it I kept getting an error with svchost.exe on re-boot. So I rolled back to before I installed new WebCam and the problem was fixed but as soon as I installed the new WebCam again the same error came up, so I know it's probably a problem with the new WebCam but unsure why it would cause such a problem.

Should I have uninstalled the old WebCam first? Is the old conflicting with the new?

Hi Fools Gold,
try uninstalling your previous web cam and even uninstall your new one, once you have done that reinstall your new one and see how that goes.

If you have no luck doing that, post back to us in this same post and we will put your problem into the tech team.

Thank you
