Default [Discussion] Buying Buget

Hi people. I'm new to buying a PC and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a nice budget PC. I'm looking to buy something that won't cost me more than 800 dollars to buy since that is my limit. I was also wondering if there is anything out there that could at least meet the mininal requirements' for most games out today?

Here is a good PC Hewlett-Packard Pavilion Desktop with AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Processor 4400+
My grandmother has this computer, and it is excellent. With the graphics card below, you will be able to do just about anything.

And with that PC, you need a good graphics card. here is one.
BFG GeForce 8500 GT 256MB GDDR2 PCI Express Graphics Card

It comes out to about $750. unless you know something about computers, i would have geek squad put the graphics card in and have them install the drivers for it.
