Hello xxnamxx

Welcome to PCHF
Well, from your specs, I see two problems as far as playing high end video games. First off 1 gigabyte of
RAM these days is on the low end for new games. If that is all you can add, that is fairly limiting.
Secondly, your video card is fairly low end for recent games. I see that it says 512 megabytes of display memory. However, I'm pretty sure that 384 megabytes of that is shared video memory. Only 128 megabytes of it is actually on the video card. The rest is being used by your
RAM. So when you are playing a high end game, you actually don't have 1 gigabyte of
RAM available, you really only have 640 megabytes because your video card is reserving 384 megabytes of your
RAM for video purposes.
On top of the shared memory problem from that video card, its specifications are also going to be on the low end.
A quick fix that will help you is to just get a nice high end video card. But that isn't going to help incredibly much in the long run. At some point, you are just going to have to get pretty much a new computer if you want to keep playing newer high end games.
You should really check your motherboard specs though. 1 gigabyte
RAM maximum on a motherboard that supports a Pentium D chip doesn't sound like it makes sense to me. You should be able to add at least 2 gigabytes of memory.
If you can get 2 gigs of
RAM and a better video card that uses dedicated video memory, then you should be in good shape for a while.
