I will seccond that-- floppies may be 'obsolete' -- but I've had times when they saved my behind-- when NOTHING else would work.
Can you put a floppy image on a CD?? Yes-- but you need an operating system/burning software.
A floppy's simplicity--- can be a life-saver

Ooh, I didn't even think that he had a DVI monitor. That card doesn't have DVI output, does it? That'd call for a converter cable.

Yes but what connection into the video card?

most likely vga or dvi. But if you post the make and model we can probably find out
