Boot up off of your Windows Install CD.
Select the R for Repair option.

Good Luck...

HI there you might want to do this to make sure it is not spyware/malware making your PC play up. http://www.pchelpforum.com/hijackthi...a-prework.html

I would still do the prework to make sure the PC is clean if it has a virus malware or spywhere on it this may fix your problem. you may have a virus malware or spywhere you may have problems during the reinstall. Reinstall should be a last resort your not really fixing the problem your just reinstalling windows what do you do if it happens again? or if the repair install crashes?
