Default Ipod Shuffle problems

hey guys, I when i plug in my ipod to my computer like it does not do nothing like nothing pops up or nothing. Like it suppose to. I have been to Add Hardware it has searchd and has not found nothing. Whats the problem? Is there a certain driver i need for my ipod shuffle or what? Because i really want to use it

Hey Bighomedog11,

Welcome back, I had the same problem and found that I needed to install Itunes first, which then picks up the Shuffle. Good old DRM, you can't just copy music to the shuffle, you have to have itunes.
