Right, I think we've more than likely found what's causing the crashes, it just remains to find out which module is causing it, the only way I have managed to test the memory seperatly is to physically remove all the memory and only test with one module in the pc at a time.
Once you've isolated the module, try running the pc for a while with that one removed and let us know if that sops the crashes.
By the way only 8 errors is not that bad, i've had memory generate 5000 in 10 seconds.

Hi Radar

I did what you send and no errors on either stick, took me the whole night to do the testing!!!, anyway i think i found out what was causing the errors and the crashes, when i was fiddling about with the ram taking 1 out and then the other i checked my mobo manual coz i couldnt remember how they were supposed to go, turns out i had two sticks of ram running on the same channel, which is what was causing the errors and probably the crashes. so hopefully now i got them in the right places i shouldnt get any more problems, anyway thanks for all the help Radar ur a star!

Ah well, ,
Back to the drawing board,
Just to be sure, have you made any changes in the BIOS, I've been told that the board you have has a very complex and painful one. Maybe you could try setting it back to default/failsafe settings and see if that helps.
Meanwhile what make/model of your Hard drive?

well im not sure about the bios as im new to dfi and i havnt quite figured everything out yet. The board is very good but its a fecking apin in the arse. Saying that tho its not crashing no where near as much as it used to so iv obviously got more than 1 problem, also the other thing is, i got a wireless mouse and when i start up my comp i got to the login screen and if i leave it for say 5 mins it just freezes up, problem is i cant tell if its the pc freezing or the mouse freezing. hard drives they are all sata drives and as far as i am aware im pretty sure they are all seagate, i have 2, 120GB and 1, 200GB, my wondows os is installed on the 200gb and i have 1 of the 120bg connected. i used to have my os installed on a raid and had them striped but it was causing too many problems and it was unstable so decided to just use 1 as more stability. Anyway any more info u need let me know il try and have a look at the bios settings see if i can do anything with it. i know if i put it to default the settings for the ram are wrong because i have pc3200, ddr 400 i have to put the settings for my ram to 200mhz frequency where as before it was summut different, cant remember. might be the cas latency normal is 3 or 4 so il check that and make sure its right.
