All other Hardware - 2GB card thinks its a 1?? posted in the Hardware forums; Ok well i have a 2 GB Micro SD card that got formatted by my friends phone and now it says its a 1GB card? i have tryed to format ...

Exclamation 2GB card thinks its a 1??

Ok well i have a 2 GB Micro SD card that got formatted by my friends phone and now it says its a 1GB card? i have tryed to format it in windows but no luck still only formats to 1GB? any programs that can fix this?

Hi Broken, i've seen this before

It's because the phone and your Card reader you have are limited to 1GB...you need to get a new card reader to see the full 2gb.

i have a SD card reader that i use and get the same problem? and my phone dosent support 2GB so i cant format it with that. i use 2BG+ SD/micro cards all the timr and have never had a problem with my little thumb SD card reader?

got it from newegg a few months back.

i also have tryed this card reader at school.
