Im just looking.

What is your budget for a new processor?

Edit: Yep your motherboard is compatible with AMD's X2 range (AM2 versions only). I can suggest one for you if you tell me the budget.

Well it depends on the speed but if I sell some stuff it can go up to £400. When I do get a new processor would i be able to sell my old one even though i dont have the documents with it because the stupid computer company i upgraded with didn't give them to me.

Hmm there is no point in spending £400 unless you buy a new intel motherboard and get a core2duo - otherwise your basically wasting money. I was thinking more about £150-200 tops. (AMD)

Yes you probably could sell your old processor, try Ebay or something. Although you wont get much for that processor nowadays.

Also what are your uses of this PC?

Games are what I use this for but i am going to do a IT qualification at Sixth Form and the IT teacher said that some of the projects can be done a lot easier with a fast computer. I also getting a job at home where I will be using the computer so the faster the pc the better

Oh right cool

So do you have a good graphics card then aswell?

If not then you could buy one with the processor for £400.
