Well im not sure what the problem might be.

I start my PC.. it will show the intel p4 page.. and that's it...

So I opened the PC up.. looked around.. and blew around the CPU area... and then started the PC.. it loaded fine...

This has happen't twice now.. Could dust be causing a issue like this?

The CPU has a fan in front of it.. which I dusted off.. but behind the fan is a metal square, not sure it's like a heat sync for the CPU.. but it seems somewhat dusty... I haven't touched it, since I don't want to damage anything..

I'm just wondering what could be causing this problem...

Yes dust in the PC can cause problems like you are describing, but it isn't that common. My concern is that there is damage somewhere that the dust is exacerbating. Can you post a screen shot of the inside of your box? Or you could just post the make and model, we'll see if we can't find one, to see if you can clean that out without damaging the PC.

The make and model are. Pentium 4 3.20 GHz and the board is a Intel D915GAV.
