Besides a modem or printer/scanner, what can I get that can connect to my computer via the Serial RS-232 port? I have this thing where I like to use everything that is available to me and it just bugs me that it sits there unused. I already have a scanner & printer connected by USB so I don't need another one, I recently bought a zip drive for the parallel port and the rs-232 port is all I have left.
Any suggestions?

I read the article and still have no idea what I can use with the port besides modems, printers, or scanners...surely there must be something else?
