Have you finished transfering what you want to the new drive? If not, finish doing that, and then do some cleanup. When transfering files, i like to use the copy to command instead of the move to command, make sure everything is there and works, then delete the files from C. But thats up to you, and others may do it different. After you finish, you can run disk cleanup in windows to get rid of old temp files, cookies...ect , or you can use a utility like this:

Just read the instructions before you start, all of your options are clearly marked, and you can uncheck anything you dont want to delete. Then defrag until it says 100% of files have been defragmented. Then run check disk, and check> automatically fix file system errors> scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors. Try this and see if it helps, and let us know.
