Hey all!
I have a strange problem with my Shuttle xPC SFF PC. Most of the time when I push the power button it lights briefly yellow,then turns blue,my PC's fans quiet down and the PC posts and all is good. But about 25% of the time since day one, when I hit the button it STAYS yellow,My fans stay running at top speed and it never tries to post,it just sits there! I have to hit the reset button,and then it goes to blue and boots normally!?!? As far as I can tell it seems as thought the Bios just doesn't kick in!?!? Anyone encounter this before or have any ideas as to what I can troubleshoot to correct, I'm thinking of selling it and want it working correctly before I do.
It's a small form xPC from shuttle,FN25V10 mobo,AMD Athlon64 3000+ CPU,2x512mb DDR400 Patriot RAM,ATI x800xl vid card. any help is appreciated! thanks Ron

Hi and welcome to PCHF
Do you have a warranty ? If you don't then try this first - remove the power cable then remove the bios battery on the motherboard (for 5 mins) replace both and test.
